Welcome to Galactic Tycoons! These rules ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. Violating these rules will result in severe penalties.
Your Responsibility
By playing Galactic Tycoons, you agree to follow these rules and the Terms of Service. You are responsible for all content you post and all actions taken on your account.
Account Management
One Account Policy
Each player may only have one account. Multi-accounting is prohibited.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account
- Account sharing is not allowed
Account Trading
Buying, selling, or trading accounts is prohibited.
Company Reset Abuse
Donating wealth to guilds, other companies, or any entities before resetting your company to preserve or transfer assets is not allowed.
Economy
Unfair Trading, Self-Sabotage, and Giving Away Assets
Making trades where one company benefits at another's expense without fair value exchange is not allowed. This includes:
- Gifting or giving away materials
- Selling materials at a loss to another company to give them an advantage
- Buying materials at an inflated price from another company to give them an advantage
Trading slightly above or below market value is allowed if both parties benefit equally through reciprocal exchanges.
Economic Griefing
Engaging in market activities with the primary intent to harm other players rather than to generate legitimate profit is prohibited.
For example: Buying out all available stock of a material solely to prevent other players from playing the game effectively.
Allowed Economic Activities
Normal competitive economic activities are part of the game, including:
- Undercutting competitor prices
- Price flipping and market arbitrage
- Strategic buying and selling for profit
Automation, Mods, and Tools
Automation
Using bots, macros, auto-clickers, or any automated software (or hardware) that perform any in-game actions is strictly prohibited.
All gameplay actions must be performed manually by the player in the official game web interface using the original game buttons/controls.
Allowed Modifications
Extensions or scripts that only modify the game user interface are allowed to do the following:
- Adding new UI elements
- Removing existing UI elements
- Changing the appearance of existing UI elements
- Adding navigation shortcuts
- Pre-filling input fields
- Using/modifying the browser URL
- Requesting and displaying additional information from the publicly available game API
Prohibited
Anything not explicitly allowed above is prohibited. If you're a developer of mods/tools, you can contact the dev team for clarification.
If you're using any kind of tools or modifications, you are responsible for ensuring that those modifications comply with these rules.
Any modifications made to the game UI must also comply with all other game rules and game Terms of Service.
Social
Keep discussions relevant and appropriate for the game community.
The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Spamming, advertising, or promoting external products, services, websites, or content unrelated to Galactic Tycoons
- Divisive off-topic content that disrupts the community
- Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward any user or staff member
- Discriminatory, xenophobic, hateful, or objectionable language and content
- Impersonating other players, staff members, or entities
- Falsely claiming affiliation with any person or organization
- Posting illegal, harmful, defamatory, pornographic, sexually suggestive, or violent content
Cheating and Exploits
Exploiting
Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. You're required to report any discovered bugs or exploits.
Bug Discovery
If you discover a bug or exploit, please report it to support@galactictycoons.com. Using exploits instead of reporting them will result in severe penalties.
Reporting and Enforcement
How to Report
If you encounter rule violations or inappropriate behavior, use the in-game report function or email support@galactictycoons.com. Include relevant details when submitting a report.
Enforcement Actions
Game administrators may monitor chat, user content, and gameplay activity. Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, actions may include:
- Official warnings
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Content removal
- In-game penalties (removal of assets, currency, etc.)
